Alberni Co-Op Community Day


Our hearts are full after an incredible day at the Alberni District Co-op Community Day! Not only did we have the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful members of our community, but we were also honoured to receive a generous $2,500 grant from Alberni District Co-op to support our rescue efforts. Our volunteer, Lily, was thrilled to accept the cheque on behalf of Valley Cats.


Events like this remind us just how fortunate we are to be part of such a caring and compassionate community. We loved sharing stories, connecting with supporters, and raising a few extra dollars through the sale of our kitty-themed items. Every conversation, every purchase, and every act of kindness helps us continue our mission of providing care, safety, and second chances to cats and kittens in need.


A heartfelt thank you to Livi, everyone at Alberni District Co-op, and all the amazing people who stopped by to support us. Your generosity and encouragement mean the world to us, and to the cats whose lives you help change every day. ❤️🐱

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our adoption event on November 23rd! Some of our kitties found their furrever families, we got to meet many of you and share in our love for cats (and books!).


The kitties were so well behaved and the turnout was fantastic! Check out the photos to see just how great it was.

Our Annual Auction Was a Huge Success!


Thank you to everyone who took part in our recent  auction. whether you donated, bid, or helped spread the word.


The event is now closed, and thanks to your incredible support, we raised much needed funds to help local cats and kittens in need!


Our bidders walked away with some fantastic prizes, and every dollar raised will go directly toward rescue, care, and adoption efforts. We’re so grateful for this community’s generosity — we truly couldn’t do it without you. 💛
