Volunteer with Valley Cats

There are lots of ways to help Valley Cats, and not all of them involve fostering!

We’re a small, volunteer-run rescue, and every helping hand makes a difference. Whether you’d like to help at events, drive a cat to a vet appointment, lend a hand with fundraising, foster a cat or kitten, help behind the scenes, or simply pitch in when you can, we’d love to hear from you.

Fill out the form below to let us know how you’d like to help. There’s no minimum commitment, and you don’t need to have experience. We’ll reach out when an opportunity comes up that might be a good fit for you.

Thank you for wanting to be part of the Valley Cats community! 🐾

What can volunteering with valley cats look like?

Here are some examples....

CARE FOR CATS

Hands-on help for the cats who need us most.

  1. Foster cats and kittens
  2. Help with transportation to vet appointments
  3. Help with supplies, food and litter
  4. Support cats while they wait for their forever homes

Your support helps:

Provide cats with safe places to stay, veterinary care, food, litter and the day-to-day care they need to get ready for adoption.

EVENTS & COMMUNITY

Help us show up for Valley Cats in our community.

  • Help at craft fairs and markets
  • Volunteer at adoption events
  • Set up and take down event spaces
  • Chat with people about Valley Cats
  • Help spread the word about cats looking for homes

Your support helps:

Connect us with potential adopters, donors, volunteers and supporters, while raising awareness of the cats and kittens who need our help.

FUNDRAISING & BEHIND THE SCENES

There’s plenty to do that happens behind the scenes.

  • Help with fundraising events
  • Organize donations and supplies
  • Help with social media
  • Photography, design or writing
  • Help with administrative or other projects

Your support helps:

Keep Valley Cats running. Fundraising and behind-the-scenes help allow us to cover veterinary bills, food, litter, supplies and other ongoing rescue costs.

You don't need to be a foster to make a difference.

Whether you have a couple of hours to spare, a vehicle, a particular skill, or simply a big heart for cats, there’s a way you can help Valley Cats.
